Grand Premier Fanatikat Funny Face (31a)

'Funny Face', or simply just 'Dasha' at home, is now one of my oldest cats at 12 years. She was a 'singleton' kitten when born, and her mother wasn't overly keen on motherhood, so Dasha ended up more being raised as a slightly 'misshaped' Springer Spaniel, by Jazzmin, our now equally old at 16 girl.

This appears to have given Dasha something of an 'identity crisis' in life, as Dasha merely 'tolerates' the other cats, and is absolutely convinced of the fact that she too is in fact a Springer - it has all led to some fairly interesting times over the years, and even now, Dasha will grab hold of things like cat toys (or even the dogs bones) and grab them upright between her paws

Even though, we wouldn't part with her for the world, and she is very much our 'Matriarch' of the feline household, ruling with a paw of...well generally brute force!

Grand Premier Fanatikat Maghnus Flynn (31)

Maghnus is our big, daft Black & White boy, who as is the way of these things hates Dasha as much as she hates him!

When not racing around the house is a high speed chase (which isn't SO often now, as he's finally worked out that it wastes FAR too much energy) he is to be found sprawled out, well pretty much wherever he landed at the end of his last 'mad half-hour'! He is a really laid back and soppy boy with us and the other cats, and a big fan of the dogs!

Grand Champion Diwali Fire Andice (31d)

Solomon is was possibly the first Red & White Grand Champion male, although we don't know this for a fact, and we were, and still are extremely proud of him for his achievements.

We neutered Solly a couple of years back, but not before he had had the chance to provide us with many wonderful cats, Maghnus & Raj being just two of the whopping great boys he always threw.

Despite being neutered, Solly still thinks of himself as very much the entire boy, and continues to shout for any girl coming into call!As my now eldest cats, at just a few weeks older than Dasha, we continue to love him dearly, and have always loved his big British expressive head, and happy disposition.

Fanatikat Smiler (31aw)

Smiler was so named due to a series of photos I took of him as a young kitten, cuddled up to Jonah, our Springer Spaniel dog, with what appeared to be a big pussy cat grin all over his face.

The pair of them continue to be devoted to each other and somehow, although I could neither show him; Smiler has a small pattern fault, so would never have won so much as an argument on the show bench, nor had need of him as an entire boy (he's another Solomon son) we ended up keeping him.

Smiler has always lived up to that name, and it suits him and his endless laid back soppy temperament to a tee!

Premier Fanatikat Flying Spotsman (30)

Spotsman, or 'Spawn' (as in of Satan!) as he is more often known at home, was from a litter of our first ever attempt at breeding Spotties, something I have never really been 'in' to!

I primarily did this mating in order to TRY and produce a male Brown Spotted, and bingo! our came Spawn! He was very much for my husband, at who's suggestion I had done the mating, as our second ever British cat was Brynbuboo Wotatiger, a Brown Spotted boy, who was from the last ever litter sired by the cat behind EVERYBODY'S British lines somewhere, Gr.Ch. Brynbuboo Little Monarch, who was no less than 16 years old when he sired this litter.

As Tiger as we called him, was very much Tony's cat, he had always missed a big Brown spotty neuter sprawled out on his lap, so eventually, along came Spotsman; whose name was selected in order to associate ownership by Tony, who is a strong train enthusiast.

Spotsman has competed and won his first Grand Premier certificate, and we continue to show him whenever we have the chance and I'm not judging!
