As you will probably gather as you move throughout my site, White cats are my first and foremost love.

Esha is the first Odd-Eyed White we have produced in nearly eighteen years of breeding Whites.

We have been exceptionally lucky that she is of such a high standard, and so far, her show career has rewarded her with two 'Best of Variety' kitten awards, her Championship title unbeaten in three straight shows, and two Grand Challenge certificates from two attempts, all of which makes us understandably very proud indeed of her.

Esha is now about to take time out from her show career, hopefully producing her first litter of kittens.

Eve is Esha's litter sister, and although successfully shown as a kitten, was just that little bit in awe of the whole thing, and did not really enjoy her day.

Since then, Eve has produced her first litter of kittens, proving herself to be an excellent and most attentive mother.

'Rene' is so named as she was born on my much loved Gran's 89th Birthday, so is called after her as a tribute to a truly wonderful woman, who I love very much.

Unlike my Gran however, Rene is one of those characters who is forever causing all sorts of mischief, and Rene really has taken over where Phoenix, one of our older Whites who we lost last year left off, and now holds the coveted (not) nickname of 'House Clown' as you can pretty much guarantee that if you find a bag rifled through, or a bin upturned then it will have been the work of Rene during one of her loony moments!

Born in January 2007, Fanatikat The White Wife has so far only been shown as a kitten.

Above is a photo of her on her first outing, aged just fourteen and a half weeks, when she managed to steal everyone's hearts, enjoying a red card day, Best in Show kitten, followed by Overall Best in Show. As can be seen from the array of silverware she collected, she only just managed to fit in her pen at the end of the day!

For those of you who wonder where some of my rather unusual names come from read on...

I have a really deep seated love of Shetland, going every year to watch the wildlife and relax. Over the years, the place has become incredibly dear to my heart, and as a momento to me of some of the features and places up there, I began to give my cats 'Shetland' names.

"The White Wife" was the figurehead of the ship Bohus, which sank in 1924. A replica of the figurehead now remembers those who lost their lives that night.

Geira is a most gentle youngster. She is from a long line of very successful Fanatikat breeding queens, together with a fabulous boy of Charis's.

Geira will hopefully have her first litter in the not too distant future.

Ellie is the daughter of Diwali Branwen, and granddaughter of Ch. Fanatikat Fearchara.

I am very much hoping that together with her Mother, Ellie will enable us to resurrect the successful breeding of quality British Blacks as it seems to have been an awful long tine ago that we enjoyed so much success with our black lines.

Ellie has been shown twice to date, being awarded her first CC on one occasion, but being beaten by a better cat on the second. She is still only a teenager and has plenty of time for shows, and hopefully motherhood as yet.

Ishta is the Great Auntie of Elwen. She is an outstandingly humble and gentle cat, and I love her dearly.

She has had one beautiful litter to Ch. Fanatikat Titus a couple of years ago now, and I hope to have another litter from her in the future.

Ishta has seldom attended shows, but on one of the handful of occasions she was awarded her first Challenge Certificate.
